How to light a veranda
The type of
lighting to be adopted for your veranda varies, especially based on whether the veranda is completely open and, therefore, subject to external factors such as
rain, fog, and wind, or that has a minimum of protection, for example with
windows and sliding doors.
This difference is of vital importance since depending on the contractor, not of the
humidity, you will have to choose to light with different LED lights.
In the case
of a closed and protected veranda, it will be possible to use the LED strips
with IP20 protection, dedicated to enclosed spaces, which should never come
into contact with water and humidity. Otherwise, in the case of an open
veranda, you will have to opt for models with IP65 / 6 protection degree, led
lights specifically designed to be installed in outdoor environments.
The use of
strips of LED lights offer a simple and practical solution, thanks to their
weight and their small footprint, they can be easily positioned in any location
of the veranda, thanks to the double-sided adhesive they have in the lower
part. Furthermore, having a very low voltage (12 or 24V) will consume very
little, offering the maximum electrical safety.
Illuminate a wooden veranda
The wooden veranda is the emblem and classicism of the verandas themselves. Its beauty and
its conformation lead to the use of lighting tapes with LED lights, following
the same directional structure, offering an optical effect of pure poetry.
Mood light,
so expensive when it comes to the veranda, is naturally given by the lighting
with led lights, since the most recent models do not present thermal
dissipation, offering a sweet and clear light, without any exaggeration.
The wooden
veranda will thus be exalted, managing to bring optimal and pleasant lighting.
What are the right lights?
As already
mentioned, the IP20 model will be more than sufficient for the lighting with
indoor LED lights or protected verandas, representing the classic choice, but
for portions of outdoor environments, they are not recommended.
The IP65 is
strip models with LED lights that can withstand water and dust, they are the main choice for lighting with outdoor LED lights: such as the veranda.
The latest

to withstand brief periods of immersion.
On the shade
of lighting with led lights, you can rely on your own tastes, going from warm,
relaxing and pleasant lights or choosing a natural light, the important thing
